Independent Shared Living
A Warm Home Setting for Women Who Value Privacy, Community, and Peace
Maa Ghar is independent shared housing. It is not assisted living, memory care, a medical facility, a residential care facility, or a long-term care facility.
Residents must be able to live independently, manage their own personal needs, and participate respectfully in a shared household setting.
Maa Ghar does not provide personal care, medication assistance, mobility assistance, health monitoring, protective supervision, memory support, emergency response, or 24-hour supervision.
Important home access note:
All bedrooms and full bathrooms are located upstairs and are reached by one flight of stairs. The home does not have an elevator.

The Home
Maa Ghar is located in North Natomas, Sacramento, in a peaceful residential community near walking areas, lakes, neighborhood amenities, and family-centered surroundings.
The approximately 2900 sq. foot main home includes four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. Upstairs, there are four private bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a spacious loft, access to a shared balcony, and an upstairs laundry room.
Downstairs, residents share the main living area, dining area, kitchen, powder room, backyard, and covered patio. The backyard offers space for outdoor seating, peaceful gathering, and a future vegetable and fruit garden. Parking is available in the garage or driveway, as arranged.
An elder female co-owner resides in a separate attached owner’s suite and shares access to the downstairs kitchen and common areas. The co-owner is not a caregiver, attendant, supervisor, or emergency responder. The maximum resident occupancy of the home is 5 residents at any given time.

Quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Residents may come and go as they choose
Daytime visitors are welcome outside of quiet hours (9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
Overnight guests require prior approval
Guests may not stay more than three consecutive nights
Guests may not receive keys, access codes, or establish residency
Residents are responsible for their guests’ conduct, noise, parking, and any damage
Large gatherings, parties, smoking inside the home, illegal activity, and disruptive conduct are not permitted
Visiting minors must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent or legal guardian
